Tales of Two Cities: A Conversation with Ville Hara and Stanley Siu
Hong Kong has a population density of 6,300 people / km² while Helsinki has 1418 people / km² (and Finland is 18 people/ km²!), the contrast of the two cities is stark and out stretch beyond numbers.
This conversation intends to bring two architects Ville Hara and Stanley Siu from two contrasting cities to share a few architecture and design projects created in their own habitat, bringing upon the calm versus the exacerbate, the minimal versus the maximal, the slow versus the fast; we shall discuss, question and reveal how the polarity in cultures bring upon similarities and differences in design between Helsinki and Hong Kong.
